Rod Baird, Founder
Rod founded Salesconcepts Associates in October 1988. He graduated from St. Lawrence University (Canton, NY) where he earned his B.A. Prior to starting Salesconcepts, Rod spent most of his career with The New Yorker magazine where he served as national advertising manager. Rod brings years of advertising sales and management experience to the organization. He remains an equity owner and is actively involved in the future business development of the company. His personal interests include skiing, reading, and teaching.
Bill Baird, President/CEO
Bill has been with the company since its inception 21 years ago. He graduated from St. Lawrence University (Canton, NY) where he earned his B.A. Prior to joining Salesconcepts, Bill worked with several leading publishers and advertising agencies, including Esquire, The Atlantic Monthly, American Banker and N.W. Ayer. Bill brings years of advertising sales experience coupled with media planning experience. He is responsible for managing all business and sales operations for the organization. His personal interests include cycling and wine tasting.
John Baird, Midwest Sales Director
John, founder of SalesConcepts International, has been our affiliate in the Midwest since 1996. A graduate of Hamilton College (Clinton, NY), John later attended the William E. Simon Graduate School of Business Administration (Rochester, NY) where he earned his M.B.A while concentrating in marketing. Prior to his affiliation with Salesconcepts, John held various sales, sales management, and international sales and business development positions with leading global packaging companies. Having successfully sold packaging to food companies in over 30 countries, John brings years of sales experience along a with broad-based, international perspective to his assignments. His personal interests include travel and baseball.
Cindy Schofield, Pacific Southwest Sales Director
Cindy joined the company in 2001. She graduated from Cal State (Hayward, CA) where she earned her B.A. Prior to joining Salesconcepts, she served as Advertising Director for American Fitness Magazine for 10 years where she managed accounts on a national basis. Prior to that, she was the director of sales at Inside Video. Cindy likes to attend art galleries, museums and the theater. She is also an avid outdoor enthusiast.
